Discipline

I use positive methods of discipline.

I have training in the Boys Town Model for the Care and Treatment of Troubled Children in Therapeutic Foster Homes.

I have been certified for the TFC Program through South East Mental Health in the past.

I am certified as a Foster Parent for the Attention Homes and DFS.

I do not punish children for behaving as children. I always teach children safety rules to keep them from getting hurt. Then, according to their age, I help them learn to be kind, take turns, share, and help others.
